About the Role
As People & Culture Advisor, you will oversee our people, supporting management across diverse properties with an emphasis on nurturing, growing, and retaining talent. You will collaborate with a centralized support services team.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary issues, providing guidance to management.
- Conduct and guide performance reviews, oversee training initiatives, and foster high-performing talent.
- Plan, execute, and facilitate training programs and drive recruitment and retention strategies.
- Offer support to the injury management team regarding Workers Compensation claims.
- Assist with recruiting and selecting key operational positions.
- Organize and coordinate reward and recognition events and activities, collaborating with operational stakeholders.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Human Resources advisory or business partner role.
- Preference for prior experience in the Hospitality or Tourism sector.
- Demonstrated ability to foster relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Inclination toward collaborative problem solving.
- Demonstrated expertise in recruitment, workplace relations, occupational health and safety, and legislative compliance.
- Self-reliant, demonstrating initiative, sound judgment, meticulousness, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Exceptional organizational skills and an unwavering focus on detail.
