Responsibilities
- Handle admission and discharge paperwork
- Update and maintain medical records
- Process payments
- Provide professional frontline support and exceptional customer service
- Triage patients as they come in
Requirements
- Experienced customer service professionals with a good eye for detail and strong time management skills
- Empathetic, discreet, and able to act quickly
- Experience within a similar role is a bonus
- A strong interest in the healthcare industry is essential
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Medical knowledge that supports patient triage within an Emergency Department environment will be highly regarded
- Strong customer service skills both face to face and in person
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective when working under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Confidence in learning new technologies and processes
- Strong computer literacy skills
- A proactive, self-motivated approach to work
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently
- Flexibility to work a 24/7 rotating roster
- Successful candidates will be required to complete a range of pre-employment checks and assessments
