Responsibilities

  • Assist fee earners in drafting legal documents and supporting transactional matters.
  • Manage documents.
  • Assist with legal due diligence.
  • Assist with legal research.
  • Assist with office regulatory matters, including interaction with relevant authorities.
  • Prepare and update client, market, and legal updates.
  • Assist with submissions to legal directories.
  • Assist with preparing fee proposals.
  • Assist with new client and matter opening processes, including client engagement arrangements.
  • Assist and manage document translations.
  • Assist and attend notarizations and other filings.

Requirements

  • Law degree holder with relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese.
  • Experience in managing a demanding workload.
  • Positive and pro-active work attitude, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility regarding working hours is essential.
  • Attention to detail.
