About the Role

Lead a cloud migration and system upgrade project for a general trading company's business investment management system. This role involves overseeing the entire project, from OS, database, and middleware version upgrades triggered by End-of-Support (EOS) to cloud migration, driving the critical system renewal for the client.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the overall plan for the business investment management system upgrade project.
• Manage projects related to cloud migration, OS, database, and middleware upgrades.
• Oversee all project phases, including requirements definition, design, construction, testing, production migration, and decommissioning of the old environment.
• Coordinate with clients, internal stakeholders, development teams, and product vendors, and support decision-making.
• Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), manage progress, issues, risks, quality, and costs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders regarding technical areas such as intra-mart, SAS, SQL Server, Windows Server, and Java.
• Formulate and drive policies based on product licenses and technical constraints.
• Create and present client proposals and reports.
• Resolve issues and escalate as needed during project execution.

Requirements

• Project management experience in system development or infrastructure construction projects.
• Experience coordinating and negotiating with clients, internal stakeholders, and vendors.
• Practical experience in managing project plans, progress, issues, risks, quality, and costs.
• Native-level Japanese proficiency (ability to accurately understand complex nuances and expressions and use them naturally and precisely).
• English proficiency: Not required.
