About the Role
Open Support is a community service organisation committed to providing assistance to families in need across New South Wales through trained volunteers and staff. This role is responsible for designing, leading, and continuously improving the organisation’s service delivery model to maximise impact for individuals experiencing social isolation and domestic and family violence, ensuring programs are safe, accessible, high-quality, and responsive to community needs.
Responsibilities

- Ensuring programs are safe, accessible, high-quality, and responsive to community needs.
- Building robust systems, strengthening service delivery capability, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and client-centred practice.
- Achieving operational excellence, safeguarding, and sustainable impact at scale.
- Delivering safe, high-quality, financially sustainable services that improve outcomes for clients, strengthen organisational capability, support workforce engagement and position Open Support as a leader in community service delivery.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and deliver services within the context of broader organisational goals and sector developments.
- Financial management experience.
- Change leadership experience.
- Proven ability to design and improve service delivery systems.
- Experience managing risk, safeguarding, and compliance in a service environment.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement capability.
- Senior leadership experience in operations within community services, social services, or not-for-profit sectors.
- Demonstrated experience working in areas such as domestic and family violence, mental health, or social inclusion.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed and client-centred service delivery.
- Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or have an Australia visa that grants the necessary work rights.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
