Responsibilities

Support customers in implementing and optimizing laboratory automation systems by developing and refining automation programs.
Continuously improve customer satisfaction by capturing the voice of the customer and communicating feedback across relevant business functions.
Partner with Sales Representatives to provide technical expertise, understand customer requirements, propose automation solutions and workflows, and deliver product demonstrations and presentations.
Conduct customer training sessions, seminars, and product operation training, while responding to inquiries from customers, distributors, and internal sales teams.
Escalate customer requests, product issues, and performance concerns to Quality Assurance (QA) and collaborate with Global Technical Support teams as needed to drive effective problem resolution.
Utilize SFDC (Salesforce), Microsoft Teams, and other business tools to document and share customer activities within the department and across functions.
Prepare sales materials, application notes, and user guides to support customer success and business growth.

Requirements

Deep knowledge of the biopharmaceutical and life sciences markets.
At least 3 years of experience in research, laboratory automation, or scientific instrument application support.
Strong communication skills in Japanese, including the ability to effectively interact with customers and explain technical situations both verbally and in writing.
Intermediate or higher business-level English proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen.
Ability to work in a high-demand, fast-paced, and action-oriented environment.
Positive attitude, high motivation, and strong initiative.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Chemistry, Medicine, Pharmacy, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
Willingness to travel approximately 80%, including overnight travel within or outside the assigned region.
