About the Role
The SE Ventures Accelerator is a highly selective, founder-first program designed to help exceptional pre-seed startups reach product–market fit and early commercial traction. Over a 12-week program, founders receive capital, expert mentorship, and structured access to a global ecosystem of customers, partners, and investors to accelerate their journey to product–market fit. We are seeking an Accelerator leader – North America to lead and scale this platform from Silicon Valley. This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of venture capital, enterprise innovation, and company building. You will own the end-to-end performance of the accelerator: from sourcing top-tier founders to delivering measurable commercial outcomes with Schneider Electric. You will operate as both a venture builder / investor and a platform leader orchestrating a complex ecosystem (startups, internal business units, investors, and partners).
Responsibilities
- Build and curate a world-class founder pipeline by sourcing and selecting top pre-seed startups in Energy, Industry, and Enterprise AI.
- Maintain an ultra-selective approach, prioritizing quality over volume.
- Position SE Ventures as a top-tier entry point for early-stage founders globally.
- Lead and evolve the Accelerator program by defining and continuously refining the accelerator model to maximize product–market fit outcomes.
- Design bespoke engagement plans for each startup (customer discovery, GTM, pricing, enterprise integration).
- Ensure each cohort delivers tangible commercial results (customer engagements, pilots, revenue traction, …).
- Drive enterprise engagement at scale by orchestrating deep collaboration between startups and Schneider Electric / AVEVA stakeholders.
- Unlock high-value interactions: pilots, co-development, and go-to-market opportunities.
- Align internal incentives and stakeholders to accelerate real business outcomes.
- Mentor and support founders by acting as a trusted advisor on strategy, product positioning, and commercialization.
- Help navigate enterprise sales, partnerships, and scaling challenges.
- Provide hands-on guidance through the most critical early-stage inflection points.
- Invest and manage portfolio outcomes by leading investment decisions in accelerator companies (SAFE / pre-seed).
- Prepare investment memos and drive approvals with the SE Ventures Investment Committee.
- Support companies post-program, including follow-on investment readiness and investor introductions.
- Build and activate a global ecosystem by developing a strong network of mentors, operators, investors, and corporate partners.
- Represent SE Ventures at top-tier industry events and within the VC ecosystem.
- Strengthen SE Ventures’ brand as a leading enterprise-backed accelerator.
