About the Role
84 Lumber is hiring immediately for a Yard Person to build loads for deliveries, maintain a safe and organized lumber yard, and operate a forklift. This role offers opportunities for growth within a family-owned company that promotes from within.
Responsibilities
- Build loads for deliveries.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized lumber yard.
- Load and unload lumber and/or building supplies.
- Operate a forklift.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Write simple correspondence.
- Effectively present information to others one-on-one.
- Periodically lift up to 80 pounds.
