About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious and success-driven Sales Development Representative with a proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding targets. You will be working on the frontline of our commercial team, finding opportunities to sell our industry-leading private markets data and intelligence. Your primary responsibility will be the critical step of engaging and booking meetings with world-leading businesses in a fast-paced environment, requiring a hungry and motivated attitude.
Responsibilities
- Generate leads and meetings by engaging with senior decision makers leveraging content, technology, and industry knowledge.
- Deliver tailored and impactful communication focusing on the value proposition through phone calls, emails, social media, videos, or industry events.
- Maintain and update territory and named accounts lists, adding new prospects with relevant account information.
- Partner with Senior Business Development Managers, effectively communicating plans and following their advice.
- Plan time effectively, focusing on activities that enable target achievement or exceedance.
- Continually review and analyze time spent, reflecting on and refining the approach for ongoing improvement.
- Build internal and external networks to stay updated and successful.
- Stay updated with the niche and continually changing market, utilizing provided training and support.
- Collaborate with the wider Business Development Team, sharing experiences and learnings, and receiving feedback.
Requirements
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding multiple targets.
- Demonstrated learning from past target achievement or non-achievement.
- Experience working as part of a high-performing sales team, sharing experience and acting on feedback.
- Ability to effectively plan time in an autonomous environment, focusing on high-value opportunities.
- Thrived in a fast-paced and target-driven environment, working towards multiple metrics.
- Ability to communicate and build relationships to deliver positive business results.
- Tailored communication style to different audiences, including individuals across various ages, backgrounds, and personalities.
