  • Support the specification, configuration, testing, and operational use of DSA solutions.
  • Develop and optimise operational processes, procedures, business requirements, and control-room workflows for TSO and DSO environments.
  • Support the integration of distributed energy resources (DERs), renewable generation, demand response, energy storage, and flexibility services into system operation.
  • Analyse requirements for TSO-DSO coordination, including data exchange, network models, forecasts, constraints, and real-time data.
  • Support the development of operational use cases, functional requirements, system specifications, and solution architectures for EMS, DMS, ADMS, SCADA, DSA, LFC, and related systems.
  • Assess and improve the integration and interoperability of OT, IT, and data platforms supporting system operations.
  • Support real-time and near-real-time data quality, validation, and availability for operational applications and control-room decision-making.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of network security, operational limits, remedial actions, congestion management, and system restoration processes.
  • Support the definition and validation of interfaces between control-room systems.
  • Conduct business process analysis, gap assessments, maturity assessments, and operational capability reviews for TSOs and DSOs.
  • Support requirements engineering, vendor evaluation, solution design, testing, commissioning, and acceptance of system operation solutions.
  • Develop and execute functional, integration, and operational test scenarios.
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to translate operational requirements into implementable solutions.
  • Prepare technical specifications, process documentation, operating procedures, architecture documentation, reports, and recommendations.
  • Support change management and operating-model transformation for active network management.
  • Monitor developments in grid operation, automation, flexibility, DER integration, digitalisation, and TSO-DSO coordination.
  • Provide expert advice on the future evolution of control-room and system-operation capabilities.
  • Act as the project lead/member for nominated customer projects, engaging directly with business, IT, and operations.
  • Advise clients on solution options, trade-offs, and migration paths, articulating business value, risk, and cost implications.
  • Be part of project delivery teams during the whole project life cycle.
  • Anticipate and manage functional, technical, and data risks.
  • Ensure project decisions, standards, and deviations are clearly documented and communicated.
  • Contribute to the development of TRC’s data management capabilities and functional knowhow in Energy Control Systems.
  • Capture and share lessons learned, leading practices, and reusable artefacts.
  • Stay current with industry trends in smart grids, EMS/ADMS/DERMS, cloud, data, and integration.
