About the Role

Delaware North Gaming is seeking a full-time Cage Supervisor to oversee cage and vault operations at Finger Lakes Gaming in Farmington, New York, ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and company guidelines. This role offers teamwork and an exciting gaming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the team, providing planning and scheduling of work assignments, and performance development.
  • Participate in the selection and training of new team members, ensuring they are knowledgeable of laws and procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of daily and weekly reports.
  • Monitor inventory supplies for cage operations.
  • Maintain an accurate cash bank and balance money at the end of each shift; investigate all variances and report when applicable.
  • Monitor the ticket redemption machines and schedule maintenance as needed.
  • Maintain supervisor bank transactions daily when necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
  • Ability to handle large money transactions accurately and reconcile vault.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to lead in a results-oriented, high-volume environment.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a state gaming license.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to bend and lift occasionally, stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a potentially smoky environment with moderate-to-high noise levels.
