About the Role
Delaware North Gaming is seeking a full-time Environmental Services (EVS) Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations at Finger Lakes Gaming in Farmington, New York. This role offers teamwork, excitement, and career growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the environmental services department according to company, state, and gaming commission standards and regulations.
- Order and manage the EVS cleaning supply stock.
- Document daily the areas that have been cleaned and serviced by EVS team members.
- Train and develop EVS team members to meet company, state, and gaming health and safety standards.
- Understand and adhere to the union contract of the EVS department.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
- Must be able to obtain a NY State Gaming License.
- Experience in EVS and/or cleaning departments preferred.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations.
- Frequent walking and standing for the entire length of the shift.
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and carrying.
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
- Regularly exposed to fumes and toxic or caustic chemicals.
- The noise level may be moderate to loud.
