About the Role
Advance your career in telecom by developing, planning, designing, and maintaining advanced telecommunication networks including private LTE and 5G, MPLS, DWDM, and LMR systems. This role directly impacts essential infrastructure and ensures seamless operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage routine and emergency maintenance, testing, and inspection of all telecommunications infrastructure and equipment.
- Partner with stakeholders on the implementation, operation, and support of enterprise telecommunication systems aligned with IT strategy.
- Maintain detailed documentation for network configurations, mapping, processes, and services.
- Deploy and support routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Interpret advanced network diagrams and configurations to execute installations, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Provide after-hours support.
- Monitor network performance proactively using standard monitoring and packet capture solutions.
- Review and validate deployment scripts prior to production release.
Requirements
- Five or more years of experience in networking technologies such as WAN, MPLS, LAN, Route/Switch, DWDM, RF/Microwave Radio, 700/900MHz Trunked Radio (LMR) and/or LTE, fiber splicing or other relevant experience.
- A degree in a related field or an industry professional-level certification may substitute for certain years of experience.
- Valid Driver's License.
