About the Role
As a Test Engineer, you will be a key technical lead and individual contributor supporting the launch and ongoing operations of high-power AI/ML, GPU, and hardware accelerator-based server, storage, and networking. You will own test process development for assembly and integration, ensuring quality, performance, and safety across NPI and sustaining production. This role involves designing procedures, automating test execution, analyzing data for continuous improvement, and leveraging expertise to deliver robust end-customer solutions.
Responsibilities
- Drive launch and ongoing support of high-power AI/ML, GPU, and hardware accelerator-based server, storage, and networking.
- Own test process development for assembly and integration, ensuring quality, performance, and safety across NPI and sustaining production.
- Design procedures, automate test execution, and analyze data for continuous improvement.
- Leverage expertise to deliver robust end-customer solutions.
- Perform hands-on debugging, validation, and system-level failure analysis of next-generation server and rack systems.
- Develop end-to-end test operations processes, including SOPs, work instructions, process flowcharts, operational activities, and destination routing.
- Provide technical leadership and training.
- Collaborate cross-functionally.
- Communicate and report on findings.
- Ensure safety and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, EE/Electronics, or related field (MSEE or advanced degree preferred).
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in failure analysis and system-level testing within a high-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Advanced Linux command-line operations.
- Hardware/network troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to train others on Linux fundamentals.
- Expertise in computer and server hardware/software integration, diagnostics, and repair within a manufacturing or high-level assembly environment.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and its application to data-driven troubleshooting and decision-making.
- Experience with system architecture understanding, including liquid cooling integration.
- Experience with leak detection/prevention techniques and best practices.
