About the Role
Lead the Partner Resources Organization in driving and executing priorities that fuel business growth, unleash leader capability, and elevate the partner experience. This role supports Canadian retail operations and Supply Chain, leading a team of 6 HR professionals.
Responsibilities
- Identifies and communicates key responsibilities and practices to ensure the team promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork.
- Supports the implementation of Company programs, procedures, methods, and practices.
- Develops and maintains an annual budget and quarterly forecast updates.
- Plans and manages business unit/department processes and practices to align with company business goals.
- Prepares, communicates, and educates client groups and team on changes in policies and practices.
- Works in coordination with business leaders and financial representatives to ensure cost efficiencies.
- Collaborates with shared services groups to meet business unit objectives.
- Partners with staffing services representatives to execute staffing and recruiting strategies.
- Partners with the total pay department to execute and deliver compensation and benefits programs.
- Partners with the learning and development department to identify, develop, and execute learning and training services.
- Consults and advises client group leadership concerning work unit and individual performance and development.
- Consults with Partner Resources partners and legal department on partner relations concerns and complaints.
- Conducts and provides direction to Partner Resources consultants relating to investigations for employment-related claims.
- Monitors and reports on organizational trends through data analysis and metrics.
- Provides advice and consultative support to senior management on HR strategies.
- Challenges and inspires partners to achieve business results.
- Conducts and ensures the completion of performance reviews.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience consulting with senior leaders on the design and execution of HR strategies.
- 8+ years of HR leadership experience, managing teams with broad HR generalist responsibilities.
- Expertise in key HR specialties such as employee relations, compensation, benefits, talent management, and workforce planning.
- Strong knowledge of employment, labor, and HR-related laws and regulations.
- Progressive HR experience in a high-growth or complex multi-unit environment.
- Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding troubleshooting, attention to detail, written and spoken communication skills.
