About the Role
We are seeking an early, hands-on AI Agent Tech Lead to build our new AI agent product. This role involves owning core backend/full-stack systems and requires speed and adaptability to meet pilot customer testing in Q4 2026.
Responsibilities
- Build the core of a new AI agent product end-to-end — backend and full-stack, from prototype to pilot.
- Turn rough product direction into shipped features fast, iterating with real pilot customers.
- Make the early, high-leverage technical decisions and set the engineering bar as the team grows.
- Grow into technical leadership — mentoring, hiring, and owning architecture as we scale.
- Work hands-on with modern AI tooling (LLMs, agents, voice AI) as a daily part of the job.
Requirements
- 1–5 years of software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on builder, comfortable owning things end-to-end.
- AI agent background preferred (agent frameworks, LLM-powered products, voice AI a plus).
- Backend / full-stack strength.
- Startup mindset — we lean toward startup/YC-caliber builders over Big Tech pedigree; rapid feature development over performance tuning.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and evolving priorities; high ownership and a bias toward shipping.
- Wants to grow into a leadership role.
