About the Role
Lead sourcing and procurement activities for onshore wind projects in Japan, managing supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and supporting project execution across the full EPC lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing and procurement of wind turbine components and related services.
- Support wind turbine selection and project due diligence activities.
- Manage RFQs, supplier evaluation, and price negotiations.
- Lead commercial negotiations and contract management with OEMs and vendors.
- Manage key contracts (e.g., EWA, TSA, LTSA, SAA) and logistics agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams across Technical, EPC, Legal, and Finance.
- Support project financing and technical due diligence processes.
- Establish O&M-related procurement structures prior to handover.
- Identify and manage procurement risks.
- Ensure NDA implementation with suppliers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of procurement experience in renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
- Strong supplier sourcing and vendor negotiation experience.
- Contract management and cost optimization capability.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Professional communication skills.
