About the Role
Own your own portfolio of clients and build real SEO strategy, not just execute someone else's checklist. This role offers genuine industry variety and the opportunity to drive account performance from audit through implementation.
Responsibilities
- Build structured SEO roadmaps for clients based on audit findings
- Write and implement on-page content: service pages, collection pages, in-depth guides
- Run keyword research and targeting using SEMrush
- Execute technical SEO fixes across crawlability, indexing, structured data, and Core Web Vitals
- Implement changes directly into Webflow, WordPress, Shopify, and HubSpot
- Monitor performance post-implementation using GA4, Search Console, and SEMrush
- Flag issues and performance concerns proactively with the Head of SEO
- Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to speed up workflows and improve prompting skills
Requirements
- 2-3 years of real SEO experience
- Understand the three pillars of SEO: technical, on-page, and off-page
- Proactive in identifying and resolving issues
- Comfortable working in a CMS
- Agency experience is a plus but not a dealbreaker; in-house or freelance counts too
