About the Role

We are looking for a professional to join our management and strategy team in Japan who wants to use their analytical skills and professional abilities to positively impact the operating performance of the FICC/Equities business. The Franchise Management team supports the global leadership team across Sales, Trading, Execution, and Strats towards driving the commercial success of the business.

Responsibilities

• Manage the business affairs of Japan FICC/Equities Franchise, analyze business performance, and develop strategy for the business.
• Assist with historical analyses, forecasts, annual business planning processes, and project work.
• Coordinate and devise business continuity strategies and oversee implementation for Japan FICC/Equites franchise.
• Understand key regulatory changes and determine the firm's response.
• Partner with legal, compliance, audit, and tax for resolution of issues and implementation of global policies.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
• Coordinate with global franchise management teams on global priorities and assist in the launch and execution of new initiatives in the region.
• Maintain consistency with global teams in each region.
• Manage administrative processes such as expense management, floor moves, vendor management, and budget approvals.
• Deliver high-quality, accurate products with meticulous attention to detail.
