About the Role
Support the development, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of Aula Energy's HSE management systems across our renewable energy portfolio. Work closely with various teams and external parties to ensure projects and assets are delivered safely, responsibly, and in compliance with environmental obligations and psychosocial health legislation.
Responsibilities
- Support the development, implementation, maintenance and review of HSE systems, procedures, tools and records.
- Promote positive HSE attitudes through site engagement, toolbox activities, communications and learning initiatives.
- Assist with inspections, audits, assurance activities, action tracking and HSE reporting.
- Support the identification, monitoring and management of environmental obligations and improvement initiatives.
- Provide practical day-to-day HSE support to development, construction and operational teams.
- Support risk assessments, incident reporting, investigations, corrective actions and emergency preparedness activities.
- Assist with contractor management activities, contractor forums, tender reviews and contractor performance monitoring.
- Contribute to HSE plans, continuous improvement initiatives and the sharing of industry learnings across the business.
Requirements
- Approximately 3-5 years' experience in a health, safety and environment role within renewable energy, utilities, infrastructure, construction or a similar project-based environment.
- Experience supporting HSE management systems, inspections, audits, assurance activities, incident management and risk assessments.
- An understanding of contractor and subcontractor environments, including contractor management processes.
- The ability to provide practical advice, identify issues and maintain accurate records within established frameworks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to engage effectively with employees, contractors and project stakeholders.
- Regular travel to regional project and operational locations across NSW, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and other locations as required.
