About the Role
Serve as the primary technology contact and advocate for Equity Portfolio Managers and their analysts, managing end-to-end technology onboarding and understanding technology and AI needs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technology contact and advocate for Equity Portfolio Managers and their analysts across the region.
- Manage end-to-end technology onboarding for new equity investment teams, from the candidate stage through their transition into the firm.
- Partner with each team to understand day-one requirements and document ongoing technology and AI needs.
- Maintain accurate technology user profiles and clear records of open items, accountable owners and target completion dates.
- Coordinate across Business Management, Operations, Trading, Data and other functions to align expectations and drive delivery.
- Communicate progress and risks through the appropriate management channels, escalating issues when necessary.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in a client-facing relationship management, technical account management, product management or project management role.
- Financial services experience working directly with equity investment professionals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the credibility to engage effectively with senior investment professionals and engineering leaders.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams, accountable owners and tight deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of equity investment workflows, including research, portfolio construction and risk management, as well as the technology and tools that support Portfolio Managers.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to translate investment team needs into clear, documented requirements for development teams.
