About the Role
The Relationship Manager will provide dedicated customer service to a portfolio of clients with accountability for sales, service, risk and operational delivery. This role will have both external and internal stakeholders, Internal stakeholders may include Sales, Product Development, Risk & Compliance teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with SME clients, managing a portfolio of up to 60 clients.
- Manage portfolio incomes of approximately £3.0-4.0m and SME clients with a £2-15m turnover.
- Drive revenue growth by understanding customer needs and adopting a needs-based approach.
- Grow the business sustainably by identifying opportunities to expand a portfolio and broadening client relationships.
- Build a strong understanding of the client's business and industry to promote insights and enrich client conversations.
- Conduct proactive credit risk assessments and customer due diligence reviews for comprehensive client understanding.
Requirements
- Experience working in financial services.
- Established network in the Diversified Industries sector.
- Proven ability in identifying and meeting customer needs.
- Experience of leading and delivering excellent customer service.
- Proactively look for innovative ways to improve customer service.
- Experience building effective networks across business areas.
- Develop relationships based on mutual trust and encourage others to do the same.
- Comprehensive understanding of risk management.
- Proven experience ensuring own/others' compliance with relevant regulatory processes.
