About the Role
Highland Homes is seeking a Sales Counselor in the North Austin area to sell homes, optimizing velocity and profitability while meeting sales goals and the subdivision's business plan. The role involves professional customer interaction, setting expectations for the sale, construction, and closing process, and managing business according to company policies and values.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for profitability, quantity, and quality of sales and contracts in subdivision.
- Must have a good understanding of the Company’s product and be able to answer questions pertaining to the building process, financing, area schools, parks/playgrounds, buyer profile for community and any other pertinent information regarding the surrounding community.
- Responsible for in depth understanding and ongoing implementation of the Company’s Lead Management System and Lead Management System.
- Must be willing to help support the Construction Team by typing letters, making copies, reproducing house files to send to the appropriate home office.
- Responsible for closing the model at applicable time.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 5 years new home sales experience with a residential builder.
- Prior experience working with Realtors and construction.
- Working knowledge of mortgage financing programs and the ability to calculate mortgage payments.
- Ability to analyze numbers and information and produce clear, communicative reports.
- Reliable, clean transportation.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
