About the Role

Albany Technical College seeks a well-qualified, highly motivated individual to fill the position of Audio Visual - Event Technical Specialist. This role provides assistance to faculty and staff for instructional delivery, computer networks, interactive whiteboards, and multimedia workstations. The specialist may facilitate educational training and assist with maintaining an inventory system for all audio/visual and technological equipment.

Responsibilities

Provide assistance to faculty and staff for instructional delivery, computer networks, interactive whiteboards, and multimedia workstations.
Facilitate educational training.
Assist with maintaining an inventory system for all audio/visual and technological equipment.
Coordinate equipment setup for events on campus, at the Phoebe Living Learning Center.
Assist in the operation of audio/visual equipment for other campus event locations.
Demonstrate theoretical and practical experience in web-based technology applications, including on demand and streaming video capture and processing.

Requirements

Associate's Degree AND three (3) years of work-related experience (experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis).
Customer service skills.
Written communication skills.
Verbal communication skills.
Highly motivated and organized.
Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings & weekends.
Self-starter.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
