About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated attorney with a minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, including strong motion practice, case management, and courtroom advocacy skills. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-volume, complex matters within a supportive, fast-paced environment where your expertise will directly shape client outcomes and firm success.
Responsibilities
- Handle a full caseload of litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery, and other court filings
- Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, mediations, and trials
- Advise clients on case strategies, risks, and potential outcomes
- Maintain compliance with applicable court rules, deadlines, and procedural requirements
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients across multiple jurisdictions to align strategy and execution
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and client service
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in New York
- 3+ years of litigation experience, ideally in creditors’ rights, consumer finance, or financial services
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational abilities
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
