About the Role

The Service Technician Level B is responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of vehicles according to Georgica Auto Holdings' standards and manufacturer specifications, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Complete basic to intermediate level repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and other vehicle components.
  • Document all services performed, parts used, and hours worked accurately and completely.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle status, repair recommendations, and estimated costs.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures in the workshop.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with automotive technologies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • ASE certification(s) preferred (e.g., A4 Suspension & Steering, A5 Brakes).
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably in a dealership or independent shop setting.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with vehicle repair.
