About the Role

Georgica Auto Holdings is seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to perform repairs on vehicles, restoring them to pre-accident condition. This role involves a variety of tasks related to collision repair and vehicle refurbishment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform body repairs on damaged vehicles, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening, using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and applying primer and filler.
  • Mix and match paint colors to achieve an accurate and seamless finish.
  • Conduct quality control checks throughout the repair process to ensure high standards are met.
  • Disassemble and reassemble vehicle components, including interior trim, electrical systems, and mechanical parts, as required for repair.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repair status and any additional necessary work.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Continuously update knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and new technologies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Body Shop Technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of collision repair principles, techniques, and equipment.
  • Proficiency in using body repair tools, including welders, frame machines, and paint guns.
  • Ability to accurately assess damage and estimate repair time and costs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Salary/Compensations

  • 60-120k Annually
  • $5,000 sign on bonus - paid after 90 days of employment
