About the Role

Robertson, Anschutz, Schneid, Crane & Partners, PLLC is seeking experienced Foreclosure Paralegals and mortgage servicing professionals to join a growing national law firm. This role offers an opportunity to advance your career by applying your existing knowledge in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage foreclosure files through various stages of the New York foreclosure process
  • Assist with contested and litigated foreclosure matters
  • Work with attorneys on pleadings, motions, discovery, and case preparation
  • Review and manage loss mitigation activity and related documentation
  • Communicate with mortgage servicer clients and other parties regarding file status and next steps
  • Work within client systems and firm technology platforms
  • Monitor deadlines, court requirements, and client expectations
  • Help identify and resolve issues that could impact the progression of a file
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, operations teams, and other professionals across the firm

Requirements

  • Candidates must have New York foreclosure experience or relevant mortgage servicer experience
  • Experience in New York foreclosure procedures and processes
  • Experience in mortgage servicing or default servicing
  • Experience with contested foreclosure matters
  • Experience with foreclosure litigation support
  • Experience with loss mitigation
  • Experience with client and servicer communication
  • Experience with client systems such as BKFS, Vendorscape, Tempo, or similar platforms
  • Experience managing high volume foreclosure or default servicing files
  • Experience working with courts, attorneys, clients, vendors, and opposing counsel
  • Understand the pace and complexity of foreclosure or mortgage servicing work
  • Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining attention to detail
  • Comfortable navigating client systems and technology
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients, courts, attorneys, and colleagues
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and keep matters moving
  • Ability to take initiative and look for solutions
