About the Role
We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator who understands scientific communications or life sciences marketing. This role involves translating complex scientific information into engaging content and driving operational efficiency within the marketing team. You will execute across various channels, including events, social media, and sales collateral, directly supporting the Head of Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Own execution of tasks from brief to completion, including coordinating timelines, tracking deliverables, managing review cycles, and chasing approvals.
- Support content production across events (logistics, run-of-show, vendor coordination), social media (scheduling, community monitoring, asset coordination), and sales enablement (one-pagers, decks, collateral updates).
- Translate scientific concepts into plain language for broader understanding.
- Maintain the marketing calendar, run status checks, and flag potential blockers.
- Grow into responsibilities such as budget management, vendor relationships, creative execution, and campaign ownership.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in scientific communications, journalism, marketing, or communications within life sciences, healthcare, or health data.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Comfort with clinical research, real-world evidence, or health data concepts.
- Creative curiosity and an understanding of effective content.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and compressed timelines.
- Low ego and high output mentality.
- Experience with tools such as Notion, Slack, Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets).
