About the Role

Support, maintain, and enhance ARN's broadcast and video technology platforms to ensure the reliable delivery of studio, simulcast, streaming, and video distribution services. Manage the lifecycle of broadcast and video systems, including maintenance, upgrades, performance optimization, incident resolution, and operational support. Deliver technology projects and enhancements, working with stakeholders to define requirements, implement solutions, test functionality, and support successful adoption. Support and optimize simulcast platforms, cameras, lighting, audio/video mixing equipment, and production infrastructure. Investigate and resolve complex technical issues across broadcast and video environments. Partner with Content and Technology teams to identify opportunities for innovation and operational efficiency. Contribute to the design, implementation, and support of new broadcast and video capabilities. Evaluate emerging broadcast, media production, and AI-enabled technologies.

  • Evaluate emerging broadcast, media production, and AI-enabled technologies.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience supporting and maintaining broadcast, video, or media technology platforms within a live operational environment.
  • Strong technical expertise across video playout systems, simulcast platforms, streaming services, cameras, lighting, and audio/video production infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while maintaining service availability in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience delivering technology upgrades, enhancements, and projects from implementation through to testing and operational handover.
  • Knowledge of broadcast IP networks, media transport protocols, systems integration, and cloud-based media workflows.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Understanding of cyber security, operational resilience, change management, and technology governance practices.
  • A curious and proactive approach to emerging media, automation, and AI-enabled production technologies.
