About the Role
As an Analyst banker within the Global Corporate Banking team, you will be responsible for managing relationships with Japan-headquartered companies focusing on clients with global operation and growth aspiration. Our Mid Cap business provides traditional corporate banking products as well as investment banking products to its clients.
Responsibilities
- Support deal teams and country leadership with pitch book preparation, transaction execution, and country-level reporting.
- Ensure seamless coordination among deal team members, product partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in gaining, managing, and maintaining client relationships and generating new revenue opportunities.
- Assess and document credit requests.
- Discuss clients’ capital structure, risk management, and strategic M&A initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong credit and financial modeling skills.
- Knowledge of Corporate and/or Investment Banking products.
- Excellent problem-solving and detail-oriented analytical capabilities.
- Highly motivated, a self-starter, and a team player.
- Outstanding ethics, integrity, and judgment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in Japanese and English.
- Superior Excel and Power Point skills.
