About the Role
As a Commercial Banker at First Citizens Bank, you will develop and expand relationships with business owners in your community to help them meet their financial goals. You will be the primary contact for borrowing needs over $2MM and engage bank partners to provide a full range of deposit and related business services.
Responsibilities
- Achieve individual and/or team financial, production, and relationship results relative to assigned metrics and goals.
- Engage with customers, prospects, and referral sources through proactive outreach.
- Represent the Bank in the community by attending and participating in civic and community events.
- Engage in sales practices that create value for both the customer and the bank.
- Foster collaborative partnerships that deliver value for customers, prospects, and colleagues.
- Initiate conversations to uncover sales or referral opportunities.
- Listen attentively and ask insightful questions to understand customer needs and preferences.
- Take prompt actions to address immediate customer needs.
- Proactively look for ways to optimize performance by seeking coaching, supporting Bank initiatives, and leveraging tools.
- Comply with all regulations, bank policies, procedures, and delegated authorities.
- Complete required training by established deadlines.
- Perform general office management duties as assigned to ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Commercial or business lending, credit, or business development OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Commercial or business lending, credit, or business development.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Position requires frequent driving to other offices, bank customers, etc.
- Bank car not provided.
