About the Role

Turn ideas into attention and content into demand. As Ribbon’s Social Media & Content Coordinator, you’ll help shape how the world sees the future of hiring. From short-form video to punchy LinkedIn posts, you’ll work directly with our founders and GTM team to create content that sparks conversation, builds credibility, and drives inbound interest. If you live online, love storytelling, and want real startup exposure, this is your launchpad.

Responsibilities

  • Create and publish content across LinkedIn, X, and emerging platforms to grow Ribbon’s brand and founder presence.
  • Turn Ribbon metrics, hiring data, and key HR trends into daily and weekly high-signal content.
  • Translate product usage data, GTM metrics, and recruiting insights into posts that educate and spark conversation.
  • Help produce short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) from raw clips, podcasts, events, and team moments.
  • Write concise, opinionated posts around AI, hiring, recruiting trends, and startup life.
  • Track performance metrics (engagement, impressions, clicks) and iterate based on what’s working.
  • Monitor trends, memes, and conversations in HRTech, AI, startups, and recruiting.
  • Assist with content calendars, launches, and GTM campaigns tied to product updates, partnerships, and events.
  • Support community engagement by replying to comments, DMs, and inbound social interest.
  • Help document and amplify Ribbon moments: customer wins, team culture, events, and product launches.
  • Learn how content ties directly to pipeline, demos, and brand trust.

Requirements

  • Is currently a student or recent graduate interested in marketing, content, media, or startups.
  • Has a strong personal social media presence (especially LinkedIn, X, or TikTok) and understands how to grow an audience.
  • Has a creative eye for visuals, layout, hooks, and storytelling.
  • Is a strong writer with a sharp sense of tone, clarity, and positioning.
  • Is comfortable turning numbers, metrics, and trends into compelling content (charts, summaries, insights, POVs).
  • Lives on social media and intuitively understands what performs.
  • Is comfortable using tools like Canva, Notion, Google Docs, and basic video editing tools (CapCut, Descript, or similar).
  • Learns fast, takes feedback well, and enjoys experimenting with new formats.
  • Is organized, reliable, and able to manage deadlines independently.
  • Is excited by AI, startups, and building a brand from the ground up.
