About the Role
The Applications Engineer acts as the IT owner for various applications and platforms utilized by the firm’s Risk and Compliance and Information Governance teams, including Intapp Conflicts, Intake, Walls, and Terms. This role leads enhancements, support, and administration of these tools while contributing to strategy development.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support, troubleshooting, and administration of key systems, meeting SLAs for ticket handling and resolution.
- Lead upgrades, feature enablement, and maintenance for core SaaS Risk and Compliance Systems, adhering to standard processes with a focus on communication and documentation.
- Gather and document business requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
- Create and update technical documentation, including process and architecture diagrams, operation plans, system design documents, and knowledge base articles.
- Assist the Quality Assurance team with test scripts, procedures, and defect remediation.
- Support the Learning and Development team by creating user guides, live session materials, and videos.
- Analyze processes and recommend application features by effectively communicating with the Risk and Compliance team.
- Stay current with product roadmaps and new technologies in the risk and compliance space, applying this knowledge to business consultations and new requests.
- Maintain partnerships with IntApp and other key vendors.
- Collaborate with IT and InfoSec teams to deliver enhancements and new capabilities.
- Adhere to IT Change Management, SDLC, ISO, and Incident Management processes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in risk and compliance, data governance, and general counsel business processes.
- At least 3 years of information technology experience preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience working with and supporting enterprise platforms preferred.
- At least 3 years of management-level engagement and customer service preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in a professional services or legal environment preferred.
Skills
- Strong communication, organization, customer service, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of cloud systems, including features, integrations, and release management.
- Knowledge of system integrations (APIs, web services, FTP, relational databases).
- Ability to work with project management tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
- Familiarity with security best practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with data governance best practices and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Salary/Compensations
- New York: $101,500 - $147,500 annually
- Boston: $101,500 - $147,500 annually
- Washington, DC: $95,300 - $138,000 annually
