About the Role
This role is designed for a new graduate or a student currently enrolled in a post-secondary work-integrated learning program in business administration, HR, Project Management, or a related field. This role provides the right candidate with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR operations, project coordination, and process improvement within a dynamic corporate environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in tracking project deliverables, timelines, and tasks to ensure successful implementation of HR projects.
- Schedule and coordinate project meetings.
- Maintain organized project documentation and records for reference and compliance purposes.
- Assist in drafting project communications, memos, and updates for stakeholders.
- Field HR and project-related questions, forward them to the appropriate contacts, and track responses to ensure timely follow-up.
- Create clear documentation and reference guides for payroll, outlining system access requirements for new hires based on role and department.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support testing and rollout activities.
- Provide administrative support to the HR Project Manager and project team.
- Support reporting by collecting and analyzing project-related data as needed.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations to enhance project efficiency and communication.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- New graduate or a student enrolled in a post-secondary work-integrated learning program in Human Resources, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in Human Resources, Payroll, and/or Project Management.
- Problem-solving mindset with initiative to learn and adapt quickly.
