About the Role
Summerhill Market is a Toronto boutique grocer seeking upbeat, detail-oriented individuals to join their Forest Hill team. The role focuses on delighting customers with exceptional service and maintaining a beautifully presented store.
Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience on the sales floor
- Greet customers warmly and assist with product location and recommendations
- Stock shelves, refill displays, and ensure product availability throughout the day
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing aisles and displays
- Rotate products and monitor freshness and quality standards
- Support merchandising initiatives and seasonal displays
- Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing backroom inventory
- Follow all food safety and store standards
Requirements
- A positive, customer-first attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and organization
- Previous grocery or retail experience is an asset
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry products and stand for extended periods
