About the Role

AWIN is seeking a Level 2 Apprentice Automotive Technician for their Audi Downtown Toronto dealership. This role involves performing routine maintenance and repairs under the supervision of a Licensed Technician, contributing to the company's commitment to integrity and high ethical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform services based on general maintenance and minor repairs.
  • Execute tasks described in repair orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Consult with Shop Foreman and/or Service Consultants for additional work requirements.
  • Utilize appropriate tools and test equipment, reporting any malfunctions.
  • Procure necessary parts from the Parts Department.
  • Return unused or required parts to the Parts Department.
  • Continuously improve repair and service skills.
  • Stay informed on Federal, Provincial, and Municipal regulations, including hazardous waste disposal.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management, such as shuttle driving, car washing, valet parking, or assisting Sales Lot Attendants.

Requirements

  • Registered with the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.
  • Possess a valid Ontario G Driver’s License.
  • Maintain a clear Driver’s Abstract.
  • Hold an Ontario College of Trades membership.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
  • Proficient in the use of power, machine, and hand tools.
  • Capable of working independently or collaboratively, managing time and workflow effectively.
