About the Role
AWIN is seeking a Level 2 Apprentice Automotive Technician for their Audi Downtown Toronto dealership. This role involves performing routine maintenance and repairs under the supervision of a Licensed Technician, contributing to the company's commitment to integrity and high ethical standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform services based on general maintenance and minor repairs.
- Execute tasks described in repair orders efficiently and accurately.
- Consult with Shop Foreman and/or Service Consultants for additional work requirements.
- Utilize appropriate tools and test equipment, reporting any malfunctions.
- Procure necessary parts from the Parts Department.
- Return unused or required parts to the Parts Department.
- Continuously improve repair and service skills.
- Stay informed on Federal, Provincial, and Municipal regulations, including hazardous waste disposal.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management, such as shuttle driving, car washing, valet parking, or assisting Sales Lot Attendants.
Requirements
- Registered with the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.
- Possess a valid Ontario G Driver’s License.
- Maintain a clear Driver’s Abstract.
- Hold an Ontario College of Trades membership.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
- Proficient in the use of power, machine, and hand tools.
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively, managing time and workflow effectively.
