About the Role
We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Engineering Manager to lead our Process, Industrial, and Product Engineering teams within the Global Services & Solutions (GSS) organization. This role requires a strong leader capable of driving operational excellence, supporting business growth, developing long-term strategies, and rapidly adapting to a dynamic and constantly evolving service environment. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen, enabling decisions that balance customer requirements, operational efficiency, cost, quality, and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams, including Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Product Engineering.
- Define and execute short-term and long-term engineering strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives across operations to improve productivity, quality, cost, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Support business growth through the design and implementation of scalable operational solutions.
- Lead automation and digital transformation initiatives, identifying opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, Industry 4.0 concepts, AI, robotics, and data-driven decision making.
- Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, IT, Facilities, and Customer teams to deliver business results.
- Develop capacity planning, labor models, facility layouts, process flows, and operational roadmaps.
- Manage engineering support for fulfillment, logistics, warehousing, repair, refurbishment, reverse logistics, and service operations.
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and performance management systems to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Lead new customer implementations, product transfers, operational expansions, and site transformation projects.
- Create contingency strategies and risk mitigation plans while maintaining business continuity in fast-changing environments.
- Drive a culture of innovation, problem-solving, agility, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Proven success leading Process, Industrial, and Product Engineering organizations.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with automation technologies, robotics, Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience supporting service-oriented operations, including Fulfillment, Warehousing, Logistics, Repair Operations, Refurbishment Programs, Reverse Logistics, Inventory Management, and Materials Management.
- Strong financial and business acumen with experience developing business cases, ROI analyses, and capital investment proposals.
- Proven ability to make effective decisions in ambiguous situations while balancing risk and business needs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading large-scale operational transformations and multi-site organizations.
- Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and data visualization platforms.
- Experience within Global Services & Solutions (GSS), aftermarket services, repair, refurbishment, or reverse logistics environments.
