Responsibilities
- Development and continuation of the organization-wide purchasing and procurement strategy, including the setup, management, and further development of strategic supplier and contract management.
- Strategic management and further development of purchasing, as well as optimization of procurement processes.
- Development and implementation of product group and procurement concepts.
- Analysis of procurement markets and identification of savings, efficiency, and optimization potentials.
- Development and implementation of sourcing strategies to ensure economical and sustainable supply.
- Monitoring and evaluation of economic and market-related developments with the derivation of strategic recommendations for action.
Requirements
- Completed commercial Bachelor's or University of Applied Sciences degree, or comparable knowledge and skills acquired otherwise.
- Extensive knowledge and several years of experience in conducting tender procedures according to public procurement regulations (GWB, VGV, VOB, UVgO).
- Sound knowledge of relevant legal and administrative regulations (e.g., LHO, AV, ZVB Land Berlin, BerlAVG).
- Strong expertise in the IT services, IT hardware and software, and facilities (non-IT) product groups within public procurement and contract law, as well as practical experience in managing complex contracts.
- Sound knowledge and many years of experience in providing targeted consulting services for one's own specialist area, especially in central procurement.
Skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High analytical and structured thinking and working style with customer and solution orientation
- Knowledge of SAP module MM and e-procurement RIB online
- Basic knowledge of project management

About the Company
- The Central Procurement department (Purchasing and Tendering) is responsible for the procurement process of ITDZ Berlin.
- Our team of 26 employees conducts tender procedures in the lower and upper threshold ranges and supports the specialist departments in the preparation, execution, and implementation of procurement projects.
- The initiated process for the realignment and digitalization of the department must be closely accompanied and continuously shaped to meet internal requirements and those of our customers in the future.
