About the Role

The Personal Lines High Net Worth Account Manager is responsible for conducting annual reviews of clients’ insurance programs, staying current on changes in clients' lifestyle that impact their risk profile and coverages, negotiating with carriers on clients' behalf, discussing potential risks, recommending appropriate coverages, and providing overall stewardship of risk management solutions for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage own book of business through developing, maintaining, and expanding outstanding relationships with clients and addressing their business needs.
  • Review exposures and current insurance program for assigned clients.
  • Determine if the current carrier is the best fit for the client’s needs, including coverage, protection, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with producers on the development and decisions for proposed plans of action and coverages for new accounts.
  • Provide daily service, anticipate customer needs, and respond to client questions and issues in a timely and consultative manner.
  • Keep customers informed about changes in the insurance world that may impact their coverage.
  • Monitor carrier activities to ensure they are fulfilling their responsibilities to the customer.
  • Complete account reviews.
  • Provide best-in-class account management to ensure optimization of customer experience and operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure processes are followed on a timely basis to support business needs, including coverage review, work in EPIC, and umbrella policy updates.
  • Identify and communicate any exclusions or changes to clients’ policies, as well as potential mitigating options.
  • Remain informed and educated regarding all insurance companies, marketplace changes, coverages, exclusions, and options to provide the best possible service balancing cost and coverage while maintaining client protection.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of personal lines insurance experience required; working with High Net Worth (HNW)/Private Clientele highly preferred.
  • Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Strong organizational and effective time management skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Professional and effective communication and interaction with all levels of management, employees, and clients.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solution-focused approach.
  • Ability to establish credibility and develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders through ethics, integrity, professionalism, and mutual respect.
  • High level of initiative.
  • Team player.
  • Resourcefulness to find win-win solutions.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient computer skills with agency management software systems, preference for experience with APPLIED EPIC.
