About the Role
The Associate Product Manager position works out of our Austin, TX location in the Cardiac Rhythm Management Division. As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias or irregular heartbeats. This role will own a critical part of the commercialized transvenous pacemaker & accessories portfolio, drive share acquisition through strategic initiatives, and play an integral part in future product launch execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage LV product downstream marketing globally for assigned products and/or markets, providing marketing strategy, guidance, and support.
- Generate expert level brand, market, and competitive analyses.
- Develop annual marketing plans to grow product sales, profit, and share.
- Create and execute marketing campaigns that generate measurable wins.
- Collaborate with DVP, AVPs, and R.D.s to create a unified strategy and cohesive tactical execution plans.
- Work closely with the U.S. Commercial team & Finance to ensure alignment.
- Gain buy-in from commercial leadership and ensure execution of marketing plans.
- Forecast product demand and sales for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning.
- Create competitive marketing strategies and tactics that defend and take share.
- Collaborate with the CRM Education team to develop, implement, and update product training for the sales force on an ongoing basis.
- Collaborate with the CRM Education team to generate strategic opportunities for KOL and AHP engagement.
- Collaborate with the CRM Marketing Communications team to ensure best-in-class collateral development for supporting sales execution.
- Lead new LV product launches.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of product launch plans and critical milestones.
- Identify product positioning, value propositions, and key messaging in conjunction with the Marketing Communications team.
- Collaborate with Upstream Marketing counterparts to provide market insights and condition the market for product launches.
- Identify market entry strategies with the Reimbursement team.
- Develop podium and publication plans with the Clinical team.
- Create market development plans with global marketing teams.
- Work with the education team in developing field and physician training plans and ensure optimal training execution.
- Create and align the go-to-market strategy with Commercial leadership, including key performance indicators, segmentation, and account/customer targeting.
- Forecast launch demand to ensure adequate product supply.
- Develop KOL strategy and create physician champions for the product.
- Collaborate with Public Affairs in deciding and executing appropriate media communications.
- Track and report launch progress to senior leadership and key stakeholders regularly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree Related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum 2-4 years of related work experience with a strong understanding of specified functional area.
- Typically requires 2+ years of experience with or exposure to sales and/or marketing in the following areas: healthcare, medical devices, or medical diagnostics to develop the competence required to meet the skills and responsibilities of the position.
- Solid understanding and application of business concepts, procedures and practices.
- Will perform this job in a quality system environment. Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Has a sound knowledge of a variety of alternatives and their impact on their business unit.
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities required.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Class III device product launch experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, and analytical skills.

Salary/Compensations
- $78,000.00 – $156,000.00
