Brookfield is seeking a Director, Digital Marketing Operations to manage the firm's digital marketing technology stack, ensuring reliable and high-quality digital infrastructure. This senior role requires a technically fluent digital professional to design and implement strategy across MarTech platforms, collaborate with Technology on roadmaps, and manage vendor accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement end-to-end strategy for core marketing technology platforms, including contracting, renewals, SLAs, and vendor performance.
  • Partner with the Technology team on platform roadmaps, requirements definition, sprint planning, and product launches.
  • Lead commercial negotiations for vendor contracts and identify opportunities for consolidation or renegotiation.
  • Ensure digital vendors and agency partners meet performance standards through clear briefs, deadlines, and evidence-based reviews.
  • Research the marketing technology landscape and recommend strategic investments, consolidations, or changes.
  • Lead collaboration with business stakeholders to gather requirements for new digital products and features.
  • Manage workflow meetings for cross-functional digital projects, ensuring alignment across design, content, and technology.
  • Partner with design and UX teams to maintain brand consistency across public-facing digital properties.
  • Oversee stakeholder feedback and user acceptance testing for new digital products and platform enhancements.
  • Own the measurement strategy for digital products and platform investments, ensuring proper tracking.
  • Lead retrospectives after major launches to disseminate learnings.
  • Serve as the project management backbone for major digital initiatives, tracking plans, dependencies, and budget.
  • Build and steward clear intake, prioritization, and status-reporting processes for leadership.
  • Anticipate issues, propose solutions, and keep initiatives moving forward.
  • Partner with Legal, Technology, Marketing, Investor Relations, Talent Acquisition, and regional teams to align digital operations with business priorities.
  • Communicate digital product progress, platform launches, and vendor performance to senior stakeholders.
  • Set the standard for digital operations excellence and hold internal teams and external partners accountable.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing operations, marketing technology, or digital product/project management, preferably in financial services, professional services, or a regulated industry.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms in a B2B capacity.
  • Experience with website content management systems and website analytics platforms.
  • Demonstrated track record of negotiating and managing vendor and agency contracts, budgets, and SLAs at a senior level.
  • Experience with software project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Trello, Jira).
  • Familiarity with common software design and development processes, including translating business needs into technology requirements.
  • Executive-level communication skills, with the ability to distill technical details into clear recommendations for senior audiences.
  • Experience presenting digital concepts to senior stakeholders.
  • An operator who demands excellence and takes ownership beyond the defined role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent project plans and prioritize under ambiguity.
  • Sound judgment on when to escalate issues versus resolve them independently.
  • Comfort holding internal teams and outside vendors accountable to deadlines and quality standards.
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal), SharePoint, and marketing tools.
