About the Role

Schroeder Moving is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to manage operations at our New Berlin warehouse. This role involves leading the warehouse team, overseeing inventory, improving processes, and ensuring efficient operations. The position requires active floor presence, problem-solving, and team coaching.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, storage, staging, inventory, and shipping.
• Assign work, set expectations, coach employees, and hold the team accountable.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct audits, and resolve discrepancies.
• Identify bottlenecks, improve processes, and develop SOPs.
• Enforce safety standards and ensure proper equipment use and maintenance.
• Coordinate with dispatch and operations to ensure job readiness.
• Assist in managing staffing and workload during peak seasons.

Requirements

• 2+ years of warehouse, logistics, or operations experience preferred.
• Experience leading or supervising a team.
• Understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills and ability to hold individuals accountable.
• Comfortable working on the warehouse floor and in an office setting.
• Forklift experience/certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Background check required.
• Pre-employment and random drug testing required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to work safely around warehouse equipment and materials.
