About the Role

The Residence Inn by Marriott Rochester/ Henrietta is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to prepare and assist with the service of a complimentary buffet-style breakfast, aiming to create a great start to each guest's day.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with questions or issues.
• Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet, including preparing food items like cut fruit, coffee, and juices.
• Stock coffee, juice, and milk containers.
• Set out cold food items such as sweet rolls, muffins, and cereal.
• Warm and set out hot food items like hash browns and French toast.
• Set up serving dishes, utensils, cups, and other paper/china products.
• Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area and kitchen during and after breakfast hours.
• Clear and clean tables as they are vacated.
• Wipe up spills, sweep, mop, and vacuum kitchen and dining areas.
• Remove trash.
• Take inventory of food, beverages, and supplies.
• Order or purchase food supplies as needed.
• Organize and put away food orders.

Requirements

• Customer Service experience, preferably in a hotel setting.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation.
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
