About the Role
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of assigned locations across WNY.
Responsibilities
- Sweeps/mops floors, cleans bathrooms, dusts, removes trash, vacuums, cleans carpets, washes windows, cleans floors and ceilings, and sanitizes restrooms.
- Monitors cleaning supply inventory and alerts Janitorial Instructor of needed products.
- Performs and documents routine inspection and maintenance activities.
- Cleans and disinfects equipment as assigned.
- Keeps supply room and slop rooms neat and orderly.
- Keeps outside doorways clean and clear of debris.
- Reports broken equipment to Janitorial Instructor.
- Consistently complies with all Agency policies and procedures.
- Maintains high performance standards regarding personal behavior and interactions.
- Informs Janitorial Instructor of any issues related to the cleaning business.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid New York State Driver’s License in good standing and means of reliable transportation preferred.
