About the Role

Our Cybersecurity & Privacy practice provides a unique opportunity to leverage your technology background while expanding your business and project management skills in a dynamic and challenging environment. As part of our team, you’ll work on diverse projects across our Cybersecurity & Privacy services portfolio. These projects include Cyber program strategies, identity and access management, ethical hacking, Cyber incident management, detection, and response, cloud security, privacy regulatory compliance, cookie and consent management, data protection, and the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in Cybersecurity & Privacy solutions.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the Cybersecurity & Privacy team on all phases of the engagement lifecycle including planning, engagement management, and project wrap-up.
Engage in Cyber Strategy and Program Design.
Align Business Strategy and Cyber Strategy.
Explore Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Cybersecurity & Privacy.
Contribute to Privacy Compliance Programs.
Manage Cookie and Consent.
Handle Data Protection.
Work on Cloud Security.
Manage Identity and Access Management.
Participate in Cyber Threat Monitoring.
Engage in Cyber Incident Management.
Participate in Cyber War Gaming.
Conduct Ethical Hacking.
Actively contribute to business growth by identifying business development opportunities.
Participate in marketing and brand initiatives.
Assist with the development of Grant Thornton thought leadership.

Requirements

Pursuing a degree in Engineering within Computer, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
Pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science.
Pursuing a B.S. program in Data analytics, Informatics, Management with Cybersecurity (minor).
Pursuing a B.S. program with a specialization in Technology – “Hands on technology experience”.
Pursuing a B.S. in Cybersecurity or Information Security.
Optional – Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree with interest in Cybersecurity and Data Privacy.
Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
Demonstrated digital fluency through the effective use of technology, data, and basic AI technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making.
Ability to travel as required.
Strong business and technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Desire to learn the business of our clients to help them solve problems.
Ability to bridge the gap between business strategy, technology, and Cybersecurity & Privacy compliance requirements to help deliver sustainable solutions to our clients.
Excellent thinking, analytical, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Effective time management skills for handling multiple priorities and simultaneous projects.
Enthusiasm to learn through a combination of structured, on-the-job, and self-directed training.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
