About the Role

We are seeking a leader with strong fundraising and relationship management experience, energized by working with small, passionate teams and driven by the opportunity to make a big impact in the lives of underserved children and families. This role will support the organization's fundraising growth through effective CRM management, grant development, donor stewardship, and campaign execution while maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Maintain complete donor records.
Enter gifts, pledges, grants, and donor interactions.
Update donor profiles and contact information.
Generate reports for fundraising and board review.
Conduct routine database audits.
Identify prospective grant opportunities.
Maintain grant calendar.
Draft and submit grant applications.
Coordinate proposal development.
Track reporting deadlines and grant compliance.
Support annual fundraising campaigns.
Coordinate direct mail and digital appeals.
Assist with donor engagement initiatives.
Monitor campaign performance metrics.
Maintain campaign records and reports.
Prepare letters of acknowledgment.
Maintain donor communication schedules.
Assist with donor recognition efforts.
Support donor events and cultivation activities.
Prepare monthly development reports.
Support board reporting requirements.
Maintain organized grant and donor files.
Assist with fundraising analytics.

Requirements

Experience leading fundraising efforts, particularly around major gifts, grants, or corporate partnerships
Experience working with healthcare institutions, public hospitals, or community-based organizations preferred
Experience in public speaking and community engagement

Education Level

Bachelors degree or Bachelors in progress
