About the Role
We are seeking Technology Lawyers to advise clients on technology-related legal matters, with expertise in areas such as AI, cloud, SaaS, software licensing, technology transactions, product counsel, or advertising technology.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel on technology, digital product, AI, and commercial matters, collaborating with various business teams.
- Draft, review, and negotiate technology agreements including SaaS, cloud, software licensing, and data-related contracts.
- Advise on AI development, deployment, and use, including contracting, governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Offer product counsel throughout the product lifecycle for technology and digital products.
- Advise on advertising technology and digital advertising matters, including platform use, data, and related regulations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of legal experience in AI, cloud, SaaS, software licensing, technology transactions, product counsel, or advertising technology.
- Experience advising technology or business teams and/or drafting and negotiating technology-related commercial agreements.
- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory considerations for technology, digital products, data, and emerging technologies.
- Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
- Preferably with in-house experience.
