About the Role
The Senior Payroll Analyst ensures accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing across the U.S., supporting payroll operations, maintaining standardized workflows, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. This role serves as a key point of contact for employee inquiries and issue resolution.
Responsibilities
- Process and audit US payrolls accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including required tax filings and reporting.
- Validate payroll data, resolve discrepancies, manage off-cycle payments and adjustments, and ensure accurate employee payroll records, tax withholdings, benefits, and direct deposits.
- Interpret payroll policies across jurisdictions and provide guidance on complex payroll matters.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Partner on payroll system upgrades, integrations, and configurations to support regional consistency and standardized payroll operations across the Americas.
- Support the development, documentation, and implementation of standardized payroll procedures, workflows, system enhancements, and harmonization initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business or minimum 7 years of related payroll experience
- 5+ years of experience processing complex payroll, in a multi-state environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations across the U.S.
Skills
- Proficiency in payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, SAP, or Dayforce.
- Proven problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot payroll issues and implement solutions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-country operational environment.
