Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, and floors in restrooms, replenishing supplies and polishing fixtures.
• Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors.
• Cleans and disinfects kitchen area surfaces, appliances, and furniture.
• Dusts furniture, equipment, and partitions in classrooms and office spaces.
• Empties wastebaskets and recyclables, transporting them to the disposal area.
• Assists with snow removal during early morning hours.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture.
• Washes walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, partitions, and equipment, using ladders when necessary.
• Operates and maintains assigned power equipment and hand tools for cleaning and maintenance.
• Is on call in case of emergencies.

Requirements

• Must be physically able to operate heavy machinery.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must have previous relevant experience.
